Shinobi is a type of informal japanese bar that serves alcohol drinks and snacks. Shokudo is the main eatery for a more intimate dining experience, featuring classic and contemporary dishes and the japanese grill. Izakayas are casual places for after-work drinking.

When Kumppari was developing Shinobi’s visual identity, the need came up for some handmade ninja illustrations inspired by Japanese brushwork — with fish, sake, and skateboarding as the themes. Then I was asked to create the illustrations he was missing, and below you can see what we ended up with.
