LOGO DESIGN

Seikkailuniekka is an otter lover wilderness and nature guide.

In our very first ideation meeting, I asked Seikkailuniekka about their favorite animal. I had an idea that an animal character could work well as part of the Seikkailuniekka logo — as long as it had a story and some depth behind it.

The answer was an otter.

The book Pohjolan voimaeläimet describes the otter as a master of living in the moment. It’s a fast swimmer and a resilient survivor, but above all, it’s an animal that knows how to enjoy life and have fun. A perfect match!

The otter symbol, combined with typography that’s slightly rugged but still playful, came together to create the Seikkailuniekka logo presented below.
